Television antenna, which is an antenna designed for the reception of terrestrial television over-the-air signals, which are transmitted in frequencies from 147-230 (MHz) in the VHF band, and 470 to 960 (MHz) in the UHF band.  TV antennas are produced in two different types: "indoor" antennas that can be located on top of or next to the TV, and "outdoor" antennas that are mounted on masts on the roof of the owner's house. The most common types of antennas used are dipoles ("rabbit ears") and loop antennas, and outdoor antennas such as Yagi, log-period, etc.
